My own background in statistics
has been through the physics department at York, and while the focus there
differs somewhat from the statistics presented in other departments, I can
assure you that I am quite capable of assisting you in the material that
you will be covering.
To date, I have tutored well over two
hundred different students in stats, with many of those enrolled in
classes from Administrative Studies, Biology, Psychology, Math, Economics,
Nursing, Geography, and even Kinesiology. Although I leave the objective
of the tutoring sessions up to the students themselves, I find people
generally come for one of three reasons...
• General help with the
concepts presented in class • Help with an assignment • Exam
preparation
... And so I keep lesson plans, handouts, and study
aids for each situation. I have copies of a few of the different texts for
these courses as well, so relating to the section that you are currently
focusing on or even work that you have been assigned should not be a
problem for me.
If you have any questions or concerns, please
don't hesitate to email me.
Thanks,
